As a diplomatic representative of a country, you will be speaking on behalf of that country in front of the other delegates and hence your confidence and your public speaking skills will improve.
Critical Thinking Skills
When presented with the agenda of the council, delegates will develop their critical thinking skills by sharing and listening to opinions and working together to solve problems.
Diplomatic Skills
As the diplomat of tomorrow, you will get the opportunity to learn new diplomatic language, negotiation skills and also how to represent a country on a global scale.
Leadership Skills
As a diplomat and representative of a country, you will get the chance to lead your bloc and allies to victory in the draft resolution process. In that you’ll learn how to lead a team, delegate tasks, improve your decision-making skills and get work done efficiently!
Networking Skills
One of the keys to success in any industry is to have a wide range of networks. Through networks you find useful contacts that help you rise through the ranks. In an MUN, especially DYIMUN, you will get a new international network of friends that will last with you even after the Conference!
